You Can Feel Better
The truths of this world are always evolving. Scientists, doctors, historians, and researchers are always studying and learning new truths about our body and this physical world we live in.
God’s word ALWAYS stays the same.
The Bible is always our truth, but what we learn about our physical, emotional, and mental health is ever changing, even as you sit and read this email.
That’s why it’s so important to make sure you’re not just believing what you have always thought, but start asking yourself, “Is it true?”
Generations before us didn’t know the information we know and have available to us now. Therefore we were taught many untruths.
When your brain doesn’t know what to do with an overwhelming thought that’s been looping over and over again, it dumps an enormous amount of stress hormones to try and “fix” the problem. To make you get into “fight or flight mode” and when you feel this way at inappropriate times, that’s what causes the feeling of panic that makes you feel out of control.
Your anxiousness, overwhelm, fear, and despair train your brain to stay in the negative and fearful memories from the past which create more of the feeling.
It can be a vicious cycle and that’s why you feel cra cra.
Many of us have felt this way. You are not alone.
These are all normal and helpful emotions when we learn how to manage them properly. Your brain doesn’t understand why it’s thinking what it’s thinking (or even if it’s true) unless you teach it.
Many of us have been told we need medicine to change the way we feel but oftentimes (not saying all the time) but with my own experience and work with my clients, that is just not true. It’s a quick fix with NO PROOF of sustainable change.
Did you know by learning to change the way you think you change the levels of dopamine, serotonin, and cortisol in your body just as you would with medication or food?
The brain is neuroplastic, which means it can change. What we say, think, and do changes the structure of the brain, including the flow of neurochemicals. Toxic stress, for example, changes the brain, flooding it with an unhealthy imbalance of neurochemicals like cortisol, which, in turn, impacts both our mental and physical health.
Changing the neurotransmitters in your brain with positivity and learning how to think what is true, can cause endorphins to be released which are a natural painkiller for your body. Simple acts of kindness, affirmations, and gratitude, can release hormones such as oxytocin and dopamine which contribute to mood and overall well being. (as well as prevent shame, reduce stress and increase your self esteem and lower anxiety levels.)
And all of the side effects of renewing your mind are good.
No loopiness.
No brain fog.
Insomnia decreases.
And in many cases, physical side effects lessen drastically.
Pretty cool huh?!.
Why have you not been taught this before?
Testing and case studies just began to prove and discover these new facts in the last 30 years. It’s new news. Your parents didn’t know… their parents didn’t know. Therefore, we didn’t know it.
Thinking we need drugs to “feel better” is old school news and it actually can create more isolating and make you feel even more “defective”…. NOT HELPING THE SITUATION AT ALL.
Research proves if you don’t deal with your thoughts, you can create more trauma and stress on your body and that is what causes more physical symptoms and you become more vulnerable to disease.
The junk we have had swimming in our minds for years is just as unhealthy as the crap we put into your bodies that can create obesity, diabetes, gut issues and cancer.
Your emotions, especially depression and anxiety are triggers for something you need to work on. Maybe it’s self-confidence, self worth, or the thousands of negative thoughts that run through your mind everyday that you need to change.
That’s right THOUSANDS. You have an average of 60,000 thoughts a day and over 80% of those thoughts are not true or negative. No wonder we feel horrible mentally, emotionally, and physically.
Your lifestyle is driven by your mind. How you take care of yourself physically is determined by how you are taking care of yourself mentally.
And the exciting news is…There is scientific research along with God’s word that proves that you CAN CHANGE YOUR MIND TO CHANGE YOUR LIFE.
Romans 12:2 says to be transformed by RENEWING YOUR MIND…then you will know….
100% of people WILL BE anxious and depressed.
And even though some of us need medication for specific reasons, and we should never feel shame for that, medication will not lessen the feelings we have about the way we are thinking. Understanding the difference is so important.
God gave us our feelings to use at the appropriate times and that’s why we have to understand our thoughts to understand why we are sad, mad, and bad at inappropriate times.
You need to feel anxious when you are standing in front of an oncoming car but you should not feel anxious to go to a birthday party.
What you have been through is not an illness.
Your past thoughts and struggles are not a disorder.
You CAN learn how to be in control of anxiety. overwhelm, and depression.
It’s a signal that you can use to help you understand who you are and what you have been telling yourself for years that is just not true so you can RENEW YOUR MIND and believe what God says about you.
You don’t have to keep fighting these feelings.
You can change.
You are worthy of God’s love.
You can feel joy, love, purpose, and acceptance.
God’s purpose for you is extraordinary.

**This is informative I have learned from my own research and proof from my own life experiences and clients, and NOT individual medical advice. I am not your doctor.
**DRUG SUBSCRIPTION and WITHDRAWAL should ALWAYS be done under the supervision of a qualified professional. These drugs alter your brain chemistry, and can be a difficult process. You need to make these decisions for yourself under your doctors care. And….do your own research.
