God Has All You Need
God’s got all you need!
Do you believe it?
It’s so easy to get lost in our mistakes.
The decisions we made that took us down the wrong path, can make us feel like we will always make the wrong choices, can’t they?
Because I got divorced and decided to quit on myself too many times, I thought my fear and anxiety would always keep me from being successful and feeling true joy.
You may be thinking you will always get it wrong or mess up, just like I did.
I get it.
I have made some pretty destructive decisions that I know were not led by God but instead led by my own selfish ambitions.
“Remember the time when….” is a phrase I heard over and over in my mind reminding me of all that I COULDN’T DO because of what I did.
“What if I get it wrong again…”
“What if I get it right…”
“What if look stupid…”
I understand the stress, overwhelm, and anxiety making decisions can create.
But, just because you have made mistakes before, doesn’t mean God is not guiding your decisions now. It doesn’t disqualify you from making good and right choices.
The freedom of choice is a beautiful thing that we can use to see His goodness, peace, love, and joy in our lives. We just have to change our perspective.
He wants you to enjoy this life while you’re here.
He has a path that is good and purposeful for you.
And God is always waiting for you to change your mind from the destructive, negative thoughts and beliefs so you can see the hope in your future.
It’s too easy in this crazy, messed up world for us to look at what others are doing and what FEELS right in the moment instead of seeking God’s Will.
Let’s commit to seeking God’s direction today.
What would God say to do right now?
When you ask Him, He is there to guide you.
When you pray, He will answer.
When you need to know the path to take, God will show you.
But, it most likely won’t be on a big billboard or a loud roar that demands your attention like you’re hoping for.
When Elijah knew that he was in communication with the Lord, he told God of his great trouble and why he was hiding in the cave. He then received instruction as to what to do. (1 Kings 19)
Thousands of years later, we still have the same means by which we can hear the voice of the Lord. As Elijah discovered, it may not be a loud percussion, or in thunder, or in lightning, or in any spectacular fire.
It most likely will come in a “still, small voice.”
And after the earthquake there was a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire there was the sound of a gentle whisper. 1 Kings 19:12
God’s got you!
Are you talking to Him?
Are you listening to Him?
Be still. Believe.
And listen for His voice.
