God’s Truth is All You Need
Oftentimes, the enemy will attack us with the truth.
It’s not just a lie that he will use to try and consume your mind.
Think about it, the devil quoted the word of God to Jesus to try and convince him to sin.
He used God’s own words to try and trip him up.
Oftentimes, we’re not deciding between two lies, but we can be stuck in the truth of our situation and believe what we’re going through is because we are bad or DESERVE IT.
We turn situations into things they are not.
We turn people into people they are not.
We turn money into a security it is not.
We turn our truth into a truth IT IS NOT.
Our trust is supposed to be in Jesus alone.
But instead, we allow the circumstance, the person, or the insecurity to be the teacher of what is true. Which turns the truth into a lie.
You have to understand the truth of who you are so you’re not turning a situation or someone else’s opinion into what IT’S NOT.
Someone else’s truth is not your truth. Someone else’s opinion is not your truth.
God’s Truth is all you need.
It’s true you have made some mistakes in your life, but it’s also true that your greatest mistake can also be the strength that brings your greatest miracle.
It’s true what the doctor said, but it’s also true that God is our healer.
It’s true that you are anxious and fearful, but it’s also true that you can renew your mind to change the way you feel.
It’s true that you are financially strapped, but it’s also true that God has all the money you need.
It’s true that you are weak, but in Jesus YOU ARE STRONG!
It’s true that you have made mistakes, but you are NOT YOUR MISTAKE.
We can stay stuck in our own story for so long that we become enslaved to it.
We lie to ourselves for so long, we don’t even know the truth anymore. Our lies become our truth. We don’t do it on purpose, but we do it nonetheless.
Self pity can feel comfortable to your brain. But, that’s also a lie.
The Israelites wandered for 40 years because they were stuck in their own lies, pity, and self-sabotaging thoughts.
They weren’t slaves anymore.. They weren’t stuck.
Don’t stay stuck in your old story. It’s not your truth, today.
“You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” John 8:32
